In this first episode, we are exploring the path of Yensing Sihapanya on her journey towards her work in purpose.

As a part of a refugee family from Laos to America, Yensing had to overcome many challenges and learn many hard life skills on her own. Since then, Yensing had spent her career providing services to families. Today, she is the Executive Director of a family service organization, based in San Francisco, where she works to empower other families with the resources and skills to thrive -- even during COVID.

For those interested in having a career in the social service/non-profit space, Yensing also shares her advice on how to get into this career, succeed and not get burned out.
